Pechan

Well WonderCon came and went! I know I'm late in bringing it up now, but I jumped right back into work pretty quickly. Was a great con though, one of the best I ever had I'm impressed by how big this con keeps getting. I'll definitely table there next year! A lot of cool stuff happened, but I'm terrible at writing stuff so I'll just try to show you with some pics.

I shared a couple tables with studiomates and . I'm lucky to be able to table with good friends who happen to create as much if not more art than me.

Neighbors can really make or break a con experience, and I was happy to be surrounded by incredibly chill people all weekend. Got to neighbor with the incredible  ! Huge fan of this guy's style! He's got amazing art and is such a cool dude to chill with. Always a blast to hang out with him!   (He also bought donuts on Sunday that I sorely needed, haha)

Also got to neighbor with a long time art pal, . Was way cool catching up with him and trading sketches. He's been dumping some awesome prints in his gallery lately, check him out!

I was also surprised and overwhelmed once I realized that our 3rd neighbor was none other than the legendary !!

I'd been a huge fan of Blizzard's art ever since I played Starcraft as a little kid. I never dreamed I'd see the legendary master one day, much less sitting next to him the whole convention! ToT His art aura was so strong, was too nervous to approach him at first haha! Finally worked up the nerve to talk to him on the last day, and it turns out he's THE most laid back epic artist in the world. T-T I hope I can be a master like him one day, in art and attitude.

That about wraps up all the cool stuff that happened. But as sappy as it sounds, the coolest part was seeing people come up to our table to say what up, admire the art, and even buy a thing or 2. I never know what my art looks like, so it's always a huge motivator to see and hear what people think of it in person. >< It's always weird when someone asks for me for sign a print, but it's an incredibly good weird. Dunno if I'll ever get used to it, but I'll always enjoy it!
