i can't sleep. therefore i'm botehring all people watching me with a pic. i can't name her. be a pal and throw me a freakin' bone here, okay?
i was practising perspectives again. i seem to do it starting at the top of the head. i oughta try other places... i was also practising hands. i'm trying to chagne my way of drawing them so that they'll be more... less cr@ppy. n_n that's the word.
her eyes are more animed than i usually do cause i guess i'm still coming off that AXPO vibe still. it'll be gone in a while. i gave her brass knuckels instead of the fignerless/fighter gloves i usually give all my main girls.
that thing strapped to her back is a steel bat. not an aluminium bat, a STEEL bat. this shit's heavy and packs an even heavier punch. one whack across the head with this fella would be a great recreation to the watermelon smashing activity the Japanese do during summer time.
ignore what she's sitting on. it's there to show she's sitting, not flying in space. although.. the obejct she's sitting looks like IT'S flying too... goddamit. -_-;;
decided to draw a school girl outfit. always wanted to. although, this one's a vest kind, the LEAST favorite one i like. go figure, huh?
i love how main characters would wrap like, bandages around the handles of their weapons/props for a better grip. she has an excssessive amount of bandages, so she ties up her grip with a ribbon like fashion. and she straps the bat to her back like some flashy katana. (hah! i LOVE Rival Schools!!)
i like teh way ties look on girls. i'd wear mien more often, but i dont' got anything that matches with black/blue all teh time. ah well.
and she ain't wearing a band-aid on her nose cause she broke it during a fight or something. she's got an ugly @$$ zit and she has to cover it up, less she'll die of humiliation. so goes the rule of the school.
LOL^_^ I love how there is a smily on the base of the bat, like when shes beating the cr@p outta someone she still wants them to have a nice day... You are an amazing artist and very brave to try such a difficult perspective, and from what I can see you are spot on^^ She looks kinda like a Junko to me, if you want a Nihon no namae*_*
this is an excellent piece. your style is very interesting. the perspective is good although you are right. it does look like she is on a floating chair or something. the bat just doesn't seem to have that hard, metallic texture. perhaps darker shading? i had mistaken it for one of those oversized plastic ones. anyways, keep up the good work.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
