i got this idea that if i'm doing hte artist alley booth at AX this year, i gotta figure what would sell. i don't plan on selling anything from the last time i was there cause i really don't like it when the same artists just have the same pics every year with nothing new to dish out.

so i was gonna do popular anime and video game titles, but i really know nothing thats super popular right now. XD so for now, i'm drawing and coloring what i like and i just wonder if it reflects the interest of most people today:

~ Silent Hill fanart - mainly reflecting SH3
~ Resident Evil fanart - 1 - 3, never played 4 or 5.
~ Metal Gear Solid fanart - 1-3, never played 4.
~ Ghost in the Shell SAC fanart
~ hopefully some Tekken characters fanart - not sure how well that'd do, but i love the Tekken series.
~ XXXholic fanart - i haven't completed the anime, i think i stopped at episode 18. but this is the only thing CLAMP has made that i thoroughly enjoy.
~ Hellsing fanart
~ maybe Erin Esurance. lol
~ yakitatte! japan fanart
~ inubaka fanart
~ kamen no maid guy fanart - this isn't obscure anymore, right?
~ guilty gear
~ DC girls (such as zatana and supergirl and stuff)
~ maybe marvel girls? i can't really think of any i particularly like
~ le chavelier deon fanart - i gotta draw the sphinx at least once. the manga version, of course.
~ blade of the immortal fanart - its another series i love to death, just dunno how well it'd do.
~ moyashimon - lol who watches that?
~ i REALLY want to do jem and the holograms/misfits/stingers fanart - again, i may just be making this for myself and not bother making prints of it
~ i wanted to do an sketchbook full of women of cartoons and comics that wear glasses all the time. but so far all i could come up with was velma from scooby doo and the baroness from GIJOE. and i mean girls that wear glasses ALL the time, not for driving or for secret identities like diana prince did. i know theres way more glasses girls in anime and manga, i'm just surprised at how many less there are in american comics. then again, japan does have a glasses fetish, so...
~ i'll be selling some of my original stuff too. mainly steampunk stuff.
~ probably draw the Endless. like delirium, dream, desire, etc.
~ can't think of the complete list as of now. i'll add more later.



i know you gotta draw what you love and i am. i'm having a blast. i'm just wondering if my taste in stuff will somewhat fit enough people to at least break even at AA lol. and its safe to say that all of the above categories will definitely feature the women of the title, while if you see me selling fanart of guys that'd surprise even me.

... not like i'm not gonna attempt to draw manji or alucard ><;; i just hate it when my guys come out looking pretty when they're not supposed to.
